Gonna replace the engine... 700 1986

OK, I was thinking of donating the car to NPR or something, but I just can't bring myself to do that. Nothing wrong with this car except the engine...

So I called my local Volvo shop and they have a good 1987 740T engine that came from a running car with only $100K miles on it that got in a wreck. I can get the engine for a good price, so I'm just going to swap the engine and move on.

Thanks all for the suggestions and support. I'll let you know how it goes...

PS - Never give up!!! That's my Volvo-related motto. To quote my dad, a car is just a collection of parts...unless the body rusts away, you can always fix it.
