Hi Folks

I have the Pertronix in my 122 Estate and my 142S and it's a great system.

The only trouble I ever had was in the 122- apparently the distributor shaft bushings were so sloppy that the magnet would rub against the pickup block- but only when the ambient temperature was over 80 degrees. The car would just lose power suddenly- especially on the highway.

I looked in there and noticed the decal on the pickup face was wearing away, so I simply elongated one of the mounting holes and viola, problem solved!
