auto trans question 140-160 1973

I'm guessing injected, being a '73.. but if it's not a US spec car.. indeed.. could be either.

Were it me, I'd bump the free spinning idle up to 950 or 1000rpm.. see if that helps.

Past that, does the car run fairly well otherwise? Maybe just a simple tune up. I wouldn't mess with the kick down cable if it seems to shift up and down appropriately...
