Fuel for our cars 1970

George,

Thanks for the heads up on ethanol. I knew ethanol is a solvent but I had no idea how much of a problem it can be in storage. Your post prompted me to research E10 fuel storage.

Basically, take all precautions but be aware that long term storage can still cause problems.

I am not totally convinced that oxygenates are truly necessary. It seems to me the gains in pollution reduction are at the cost of a deal with the devil.
