If the car doesn't even crank it's not likely either of the relays in the engine bay. One is for the AC fan and the other is for the radio suppression but also runs the injectors. That one will cause a non-start condition but the engine will at least crank. I'd have a look at the start inhibitor switch in the gearshift assembly (I assume you have an automatic trans). Check the grounds, connectors and wiring too that lead to the inhibitor switch. Your component replacement may be caused by wire degradation causing shorts.
