B230FT mileage again

Would the sudden heavier air here in SW Michigan (single digits F) cause my car to drop 25% in mpg? It has been 0 to 10 deg.F here and suddenly my mediocre 20 mpg dropped to 15 mpg. This is out of 1 hour diving, 30 min highway (72mph) and 15 min. rural roads (50mph) and 15min. city (30mph) and maybe a total of 14 stop and goes for lights etc..
How can I get this mpg a little higer without spending to much. Car '93 944T is electrically (plugs wires etc) tuned-up and an oil and transaxle fluid change 750 mph ago.
I'm not a lead foot driver (in this car) and keep the rpms under and upto 3K rpm when driving and accelerating.
There must be something I can do or I've to start driving the Chrysler van again as she gets 20 mpg for sure.
