There is actually some evidence for some mild efficiency improvements with similar systems. I believe it was a canadian study. Don't trust any commercial products!! Some of them are being sold by known scammers. I believe the conventional wisdom is that water injection is more beneficial and practical.

H2 and H20 injection both reduce the chance of pinging allowing you to run leaner mixtures.
