Motor Blower not functioning 200 1991

Welcome to Blower Motor replacement land. There are two likely causes to the smell and both require pulling the motor. And if you to have to pull the motor, replaced the motor. There is resistor pack on one of the bolts on the motor mount that may have burned up. But to get to them you have to go the same trouble as replacing the motor. So best bet is to get you a new motor and resistor pack at the local Euro store of order one online. Get the cleanflametrap.com instructions, you will not have to go any cutting or grinding. I recommend pulling the dash, and passengers seat. Gives you a better reach at everything. Found that at Dave Shannon's page.

Good Luck and keep the seat heaters on.

Regards,

Paul

PS: Spring is coming, the trees have started to bud down here, and had to mow the yard today. So hopefully the temps will warm up a bit before you have to do the job.
