84 Turbo no start.

Hi Roadside,
I posted last nite to you but I'm not sure if it ever showed up on the board. Not being a smartass here but you did make sure you replaced the rotor when you replaced the cap and made sure it fit into it's keyed slot? Also, check around on the bracket that the coil is mounted onto... make sure you didn't knock something loose(connection?) while changing things out. My '82t is covered up outside and another major storm is on it's way. Maybe Sunday I can unwrap mine and take a look at the wiring over by coil. I think from memory there is a relay there too. Before you attacked the exhaust manifold / turbo did you disconnect the battery cables? I beleive there is a red wire that shares the terminal with the + battery terminal. Did you say you had fuel for sure? By any chance have you got a spare fuel pump relay or maybe take out yours and resolder?
