M47 Trani...check your fluid

On the way home last night, I heard the faintest whine/hiss during acceleration.

I thought it was the hum of the Snows. But the ONLY AT ACCELERATION part bothered me. Hmmm, maybe Center bearing or Trani. I slid the Floor Jack under the front suspension and slid under, popped the Fill bolt out of the Trani to find I was low.

The only damp spot on the trani is by the shifter shaft. Never a leak on the garage floor. Just as a Heads-Up, spend 5 minutes and take a look at your fluid level on this Fluid critical Trani even if you don't have a leaking issue.
