The Death of FCP, Groton, Ct

I ordered a timing belt/tensioner/front seal kit from FCP on ebay. Before I ordered, I emailed and asked where the various components were made, not wanting cheap Taiwanese or Chinese parts in my 740. I was told the seals were from the US (Elring) which was the case, but he also told me the belt was German and the tensioner Austrian- The Tensioner was actually German, but the belt was "hencho en Mexico"! At first, I was pretty miffed, but I went ahead and installed everything anyway, and so far, so good... I'm not saying he purposefully tried to decieve me, maybe that's where the parts used to come from... For the price, I think I got a good deal. Kept the old belt (which looked fine anyways) just in case ;)
