The Death of FCP, Groton, Ct

i'm certainly curious to hear from others in regards to their experience with the 'new' groton.

personally, i wasn't too impressed with the old groton. sure, the prices are generally reasonable, but someone needs to teach those dudes how to pack a friggin' box.

i ordered exhaust parts along w/ oil filters & a few other odds & ends last year. the box arrived w/ a huge hole in the bottom. some of the small parts had fallen out & were missing. the muffler was dented in several places, and 3 out of 4 oil filters were dented & damaged. i think one part, (a wire) arrived safely.

when your exhaust system is hanging off the car, & you've already waited the weekend plus 2-3 business days for delivery the last the thing you want to screw around with is, returning items & waiting for replacements.

during the day, i manage an online business that sends loads of unique & fragile items across the country through ups, the same carrier groton utilized at the time of purchase. ups wasn't to blame for this mess...

i also agree with tony; the old site was simple but easy to use.
