A question for buyers on ebay...

I got into a deal sorta like that except that the item was misidentified
and I had not opened the package. Turned out the gasket set I got, supposed
to be for a Volvo B20, was for some Mitsubishi although the box it came in
was marked "Volvo" in magic marker. I e-mailed the guy and he responded that
since it had been some 9 months before I contacted him he felt he had no
further responsibility. I sent the set back to him but got no further contact
and no refund. All I could do at that point was put a response on his positive
feedback on me saying it was not the item, not even the same brand and although
I had returned it to him, he had not made it good.

In 20:20 hindsight, my advice is, DO NOT GIVE FEEDBACK till you KNOW it is GOOD!
You can give feedback for up to two months after the sale so you should be able
to check the item in that time. I procrastinated, ASSUMING it was OK.
Remember that ASSuME makes an ass outa u and me.

BTW, I have e-mailed documents, pictures, computer programs and all kinds of
digital formats, but HOW do you e-mail a gas cap???
