Ryan:
If you are contemplating this swap for the sake of appearance, go forth and enjoy.
If your intent is to see better under foggy conditions, you would be way better off mounting quality fog lights much lower on your car.
Reasons:
1] The OE fog lights simply aren't all that good.
2] Mounting fog lights at the same height as headlights defeats the purpose, to wit:
Contrary to popular belief, the principle behind mounting foglights low is not "to shoot under the fog". The idea is that the water droplets that make up fog will scatter and reflect the light back at the driver - mounting foglights at headlight level *increases* the amount of light that will reflect off the droplets *back into your eyes*. Mounting foglights low will decrease these amount of light reflected back at the driver, and therefore increase forward vision.
