Hi,


I really hope I'm not too late and you've already junked the car or had an incineration ceremony.

The intake manifold is leaking. FInd the leak by spraying starting fluid around the intake. Do this when the engine is cold. Spray at the intake gasket and all hoses. Any change in idle indicates a leak.

A leak at the intake manifold gasket is quite common. Also check that the brake booster is not hissing or leaking.
