installing updated engine harness 200 1983

oh... I think I get what you read somewhere... they are referring to the grey plug at the firewall. That's where the problem is most visible, and that plug is easy to break when removing... I bet that's the reference..

The *fix* is to replace the whole harness (what you are selling I think), the patch is to cut and splice.

When I did mine, I broke that grey plug real good, but only the half that I was replacing with the new harness... That's the recommendation you should make to the buyer...

Don't break the half of that plug that is staying with the car.

Again though... absolutely no wires should be cut in replacing the whole engine wiring harness.
