The yellow wire that I guess would otherwise be connected to the back of cluster is connected to the temp gauge. I recently pulled the cluster to install a tach and found numerous wires with connectors disconnected. One I have identified as the service light, and another as a cruise control wire.... I really would love to meet the PO and ask them if they are ignorant, or just like to run good cars into the ground!
