Just a note about basic BrickBoard civility. A lot of us here who offer advice and counsel regarding our experiences with our beloved Bricks never hear the final outcomes. We tell you to change the fuel pump relay or to disconnect the AMM or to check the crank position sensor... but at best, we get about a 30% response from the non-regulars about whether the problem was fixed.
