Differential fill plug - size/thread 120-130 1965

The differential fill plug on my '65 122 doesn't seem to have a "stop" -- ie, you can just keep screwing it in until it falls into the diff. Reading some old posts on Brickboard, that doesn't seem to be unusual (recommended cure seems to be teflon tape), but I was thinking of getting a replacement plug that's either taper-threaded or has a shoulder on it so I can't accidentally "screw" myself someday (sorry about the pun).

Does anyone know what thread size/diameter the diff plug is?

Thanks!
