Hot Start problem 200 1980

Not a problem at all. I didn't give all the details. I'm not sure if it is really a hot start problem or just intermitant. What happens is that it will run normally and then after it has been shut down for a bit it will crank normally but no start. It doesn't fire at all. All the dash lights are normal. I've tried jumping the fuel pump and get all the normal whirring sounds but again no start. Then sometime later it just starts up. I'll do the test at the coil but I would think that if it was a coil problem it would manifest itself while driving.
