Good call. Actually, both left and right motor mounts were changed after I replaced my valve cover gasket to cure an annoying oil leak. I believe you are absolutely right. They were the consistency of peanut butter, and the oil filter was a gut wrenching few millimeters from the cross member. I think I'm just going to take her to a muffler place, maybe that big yellow one that george foreman used to speak for, I'm sure they can't botch a seam weld...
