1987 240GL problems...

Hey guys.

Browsed around the site a bit. Picked up a 1987 240GL today. All seems well, but there are some problems.

Most of the all speedometer. It works okay until it hits 46-47mph, then it stops all together. Couldn't really find a guide on how to fix that.

The other minor issue is the door handle on the drivers side has popped out of the door. I gotta hold it in as best I can and try to pull the handle. How is this fixed? Tried to find a guide, but no luck.
