I'm not sure what may have led you to believe this was my first post, I have been a member for a while, benefiting so greatly from the information here that I've probably gotten lazy and dependent on the board!

In any case I have checked the odo gear and it seems to be fine, I haven't yet tried resoldering the odo board that will be my next attempt.

I guess I just wanted to rule out the speed sensor at the differential and focus on the speedo/odo gauge system if that was warranted. It seems like the single wire (that carries a signal) from the speed sensor to the gauge would cause the speedo to fail as well as the odo if it wasn't supplying a signal.

I'll get my soldering gun out and try that...
