I'm curious to learn if the seals are available for the 122 and if so, would the source be able to supply the same for a 140. The steering box (no play, not worn out) in my '69 144S was nearly drained every couple of months -- the car is used for 3-4 track days per year and limited local driving. I couldn't find a source--Volvo could supply the input shaft seal (also needed) but not the pitman shaft seal (then why bother?). I took the advice of another 140 driver and packed the box with grease--no more stains under the car. I would prepare a spare box if the seals were available.
