HELP my 81 Volvo 240 1981

Intermittant starting problems:

Do system and fuel pump relays react?

Remove padding under passenger dashboard. Listen as key is turned on for a single click. A second click when starter cranks.

If no first click, main fuse on left fender, or ignition switch problem.

No second click. Fuses, ignition switch or Hall sending unit in distributor. Second click for fule flow will only occur if safety system detects the engine is actually rotating. Derived from same system that triggers spark. Test for faulty Hall sensor is in Bentley.
