I am a new DIY person and I've performed this repair on my 1993 sedan. It was a bit difficult to get in/around the tank, but definitely doable. The magic IPD tool is a must for removing the "cap" on the gas tank is a must and just be careful when removing the in-tank pump as to not damage or lose your floater. I went ahead and replaced my filter sock while I was in there as well.
