Hi,
Replaced my daughter's 940 drivers side regulator with one from a boneyard. First thing take the retaining clips that fasten the glass out and tilt the glass so as to be able to remove it completely from the door(the metal channel the window "sits" in comes out with the glass). A 3/16 h.s. bit will drill out the rivets easily. If you buy a brand new regulator I believe they all come now with bolt on installation instead of rivets. Since mine came from a wreck I just reattached it with new rivets. I think I remember the rivet length to be about 1/2" with a 3/16 diameter. Slide / angle glass back into slot, attach to new regulator assembly with the original clips and you're good. Btw, a new regulator was, I think, $200+ and the boneyard regulator was I think about $40. Not a bad job, just take it slow.
