How do I remove the alt. brushes? 700 1986

It's a 2 minute job to solder in new brushes
I think I just snipped the end with small dikes
Then cleaned it out with a hot solder iron and solder wick
I forget the details, dunno if I needed a drill... but it's straightforward
Just make sure that the brushes are soldered so that they are way out,
but not falling out of their slots.
