frequent long cranking to start 700 1991

The long cranking for a hot start is often associated with a failed fuel pump check valve. They can be replaced separately from the fuel pump.

That said, I recently replaced my fuel pump with an aftermarket Carter pump, which came with a straight-through fitting instead of a check valve, and to date I have not had extended crank times this summer, even with temperatures above 30C.

Good luck!
