frequent long cranking to start 700 1991

I was experiencing the same symptoms as Paul several years ago with our 745T and several people suggested the check valve as the problem.

When I called our local dealer (Beechmont Volvo- Cincinnati)to order the check valve I was told that the 91 740 turbo cars was not equipped with one.

I changed out the intank pump on our car (turned out to be non functioning) and the long cranking on hot starts no longer occurred.
