1993 940 no brake lights

The only other thing would be the brake pedal switch—a PITA to get at.

Slightly less of a PITA would be to probe for pedal switch voltage at the Bulb Sensor Relay socket in the relay rack (also PITA). To do that, you'll need to pull the relay out and locate the terminal where the signal from the pedal switch comes in. It will be labeled 54S or 9, possibly both.

Then you have to orient that terminal position to its mating socket position, and test there for voltage when the brake pedal is pressed.
