1993 940 no brake lights

I checked the brake switch, power going in and power coming out when brake pedal is depressed. Is the next step the bulb failure warning sensor? We pulled it out and looked at it, seemed like everthing was fine. Hit a couple of questionable spots with fresh solder. Still doesn't work. Guess I'll order the new one for $70, unless someone has another suggestion. Thanks for the replies.
