couple of more questions :
1] did your new dryer come with a new lo pressure cut off switch, or did you transfer your old one from the old dryer to the new dryer......
2] did you jumper that old switch to test it? or run power direct to teh compressor from battery to bypass it?.... you need to make sure the switch is good....
if the switch is good, you just have to bypass it so you can energize the compressor and get it properly filled...don't forget to have the system on max with fresh air intake [not recirc] windows down, blower turned up while you are filling it...
