Yeah, just a dab on the wire end of the plugs, not too much though, just enough to lubricate. I only use it on the plug end, but I'm sure I wouldn't hurt anywhere else. Makes removal after a couple of years soooo much easier. I went rifling through my apartment to find the tube I had lying around, never found it though, turns out iPD sends a ketchup packet sized envelope of grease with the performance plugs : )
