Yeah, or a chain. Wow! what a revolation, A chain, just like all the larger engines.

Is it noise, or power lost that the 4 cylinder engines seem to go with belts instead of the Chain? A chain with a spring tensioner will last forever, even in Volvo Engine years.
NOt familiar with the Gears for the B20 but the Gear Set that you can buy for Small Block Chevy's, that normally have Chains, Whine like a Supercharger. Pretty impressive sounding for a nice car but also , well, noisey for a daily driver.
