With that info, I'd test the injectors resistance at the ECU connector.
Ignition off, remove connector to ECU, pull the side guards and test with an ohm meter between the sides of pins 9 and 18. Anything other than 4 ohms indicates a faulty injector somewhere.
Also check between 9 and 32. That should be 10 ohms for the Cold Start injector.
If that injector is not shutting off after starting, you will run rich. Disconnectiong it will only make it difficult to start.
What seems odd is that with a rich condition, the ECU is not setting codes for compensation by the O2 sensor. A possible faulty ECU. What number is the ECU??
