I believe the purpose of the strap is to help ground the engine to the chassis.

Jon, thanks for the link. I could never find their parts site for some reason. However, once there, I couldn't find a listing for the 740 NA hydraulic motor mounts, unless they are listed some strange way. I did find some mounts for about $87 that would be about right if they are truly a discount house.

Their list will say such-and-such engine "w/o" turbo, but then it will list something like B230FT as being one of the non-turbo engines. I think they need to do a little clean-up on their site. But hey, if the price is right I can tolerate a bit of confusion. It probably takes a phone call to make sure you're getting the right stuff.
