Name the failed part. 120-130

Symptoms:

Occassional skipping.
Apparent carb sync' problem. (yo-yo power delivery)
Apparent lean bog.
Rough idle.

Within 240 miles the symptoms progressed to:

Hard starts, hot or cold.
More hesitation off-idle.
More frequent misfires, especiallly under load. Lifting the throttle would eliminate the misfire.

Finally:

No start.

I left out one key bit of information because I can't tell you the symptom without giving away the defective part.
