Vent window lock glue? 140-160 1972

The first trick to making it stay on for more than two weeks is surface preparation on both the metal tab and glass. All the old glue must be removed (razor blade) without marring the surfaces. Never got a C-clamp to work and 25% do not set right the first time.

The second trick is to never shut and clamp down the vent window.

I have collected 3 of each side of the vent windows and simply replace them as the knobs fall off. Then when I get a production run together, I do 5 or six on one tube of rear view mirror glue. Been doing it and collecting extra vent windows for years
