Continuing saga - No compression in #1 140-160

If you adjusted valves when the rocker cover was off it could be badly worn front cam bearing. I had the same problem, with the right valve lash the cam gears were thrusting up and closing clearances on no1. Increase clearances and if compression increases or miss improves you can be sure its cam bearing worn. You can run it with rattley tappets until you want to rebuild engine Jack McIntyre.
