I was right there with you until you posted the grossly oversize tire size. I haven't a bloody clue. In my 1985, 245 with AW-70 auto tranny (non lock up like your AW-71)(how long have you had this tranny in your car?), with near standard tire size (195-70-14) at 2500 RPM, I'm doing just a tick under 70.
