finally had time and good weather to get at the 142, drained the gas tank & put new fresh premium in. picked up new plugs and a feeler guage set, Gapped and installed. The car fired up and ran great, no sputtering or hesitation. Now I can move the shell out and the wreck into the garage and start taking it apart.
