Dale, did you take any photos of that process? When I have some dough again (whenever that is) I'm taking my 1800E axle to the welder to get the 220 mounts installed. some photos might make the whole process more understandable...
I've been torn about having the welder cut off the wagon's brackets to weld onto the 1800E axle or having them widen the 1800E "flange" so that I can properly align them to the 220 lower trailing arms.
I'm leaning towards The later option as it would preserve the original axle and allow me to pull and save the disk-brake rear axle if any harm were to befall my wagon. However, I worry that the torque rod/trailing arm ratio/angle is slightly different on the 1800e than on the 220 - even though the torque rods are the same length...
