Testing TPS 200 1989


The 3 TPS terminals are numbered on the switch, but hard to see.

With TPS in place...

• #3 Top, Blue/White wire signals Wide Open Throttle to ECUs when grounded via center terminal.

• #18 Center, Black wire goes to the ground terminal on throttle pulley bracket.

• #2 Bottom, Yellow/White wire signals Throttle Closed to ECUs when grounded via center terminal.

I have a spare junkyard TPS plug with about a foot of wiring that I use to check the TPS on the car.
