The 960 wagons have a live axle, just like your car does. The ratio is 3.31:1. I have one of those rear ends in my 5 liter Ford powered 744.

Manual transmission turbo cars have a 3.54 ratio rear end. The 1991 model year turbo 740s are extremely scarce, but they have the Eaton locker.
