Shaking all over 120-130

It is indeed not necessary to remove engine including gearbox.
The Haynes 120/130-manual says that in order to get at the torque converter bolts the gearbox will have to be separated from the bellhousing, after which the bellhousing must be removed from the engine. Then there is access to the four bolts that fasten the t.c. to the flywheel via the adapter plate.

But if these bolts have come loose, I think I should notice that more often than in only those specific situations as mentioned.
