At least three IIRC
-red Volvo script...used on solid wheels...used up till around '61
-red "V"...used on solid wheels...used up till '65
-black "V"...used on wheels with oval cutouts...'65 and later
The oval wheels will only accept the latter (black V) caps.
The black "V" will not fit earlier solid wheels.

There may have been some other types out there that I am not aware of.
