If they still made my V90, I would never have bothered looking at Mercedes. It is exactly what I needed and is a nice car to drive, city and especially highway.
If the new V90 it is a gigantor ( a huge japanese robot from the 70's) like the Flex, again uninterested. Actually didn't drive the new S80.
BTW, the wagon bit is a bit of a preference, but not a need. I have had wagons since my days at MIT. Just like them.
Perhaps another trip to Volvo is warranted.
