Short Shifter 120-130

I managed to score an original A/C unit for my 67 wagon restoration/upgrade project. I quickly noticed that the AC would be a problem.

Fortunately, I installed a short-throw shifter from an M41J and purchased a 140-series drive tunnel extension.

The result is visible in this picture.

That's an 1971 1800E carpet set and a 1971 140-short shifter, knob, and steering wheel. The AC is just propped up with a coil clamp...

I'm not sure why Eric so strongly recommends against the upgrade. Many have done it with great success.
