Howdy,

Does your car have ABS? I see on the schematic that the ABS Control Unit, pin 15 is connected directly to the charge indicator wire. I don't know what the function of that interconnection may be. There is also an ABS warning lamp. Does it light up too? Your ABS may need service.

Forgetting about the ABS connection for a moment, check for a loose connection at the back of the instrument panel.
